About Your Body

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

YOUR BODY IS A TEMPLE - "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God,"

The moment you trusted Christ as your Savior, the Holy Spirit began to indwell you.
1 Corinthians 12:13, Romans 8:9 The Holy Spirit of God lives inside of each believer, therefore your body is a temple of God!

YOUR BODY IS A TRUST - ".and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price:"
When a person is responsible for a trust it means that he is taking care of something that He doesn't own. We are responsible to take care of our bodies as a trust. God owns our bodies because He purchased our salvation on the cross. Romans 5:6-9

YOUR BODY IS TO BE A TESTIMONY - ".therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."

Because we are owned by God, we are to bring glory to God with all that we do in body and/or spirit! Romans 12:1
