Sin Confronted

Part One

Ezra 10:1-8

GODLY SORROW - Vss. 1a, 6

Ezra sincerely grieved over the sins of his people. 2 Corinthians 7:10

GODLY SUGGESTION - Vss. 2-3

Schechaniah suggested that a covenant be made with God to deal with the sin and correct it.

GODLY SUPPORTERS - Vss. 1b, 4-5

There were those who stood with Ezra in his grief over the sin. They also were willing to support Ezra as he dealt with the sin.

GODLY SUMMONS - Vss. 7-8

Everyone was called together to deal with the sin. It was a public sin. It needed public attention.
