Course Syllabus
APIBS offers 6 modules of courses for Diploma in Biblical Studies, namely –

1) Principles of Christian Growth – a devotional and inspirational study of the methods and principles of Christ as He trained His disciples.

Two credit units

2) Principles of Bible Study – a study of the principles of biblical interpretation and the methods of independent, devotional Bible-study.

Two credit units.

3) Old Testament Messages – A study of the unfolding theme of the Bible as it is revealed through the messages of the individual Old Testament books.
Video Lecturer Dr Terry Rude.
Two credit units.

4) New Testament Messages – A study of the unfolding theme of the Bible as it is revealed through the messages of the individual New Testament books.
Video Lecturer Dr Steve Hankins.
Two credit units.

5) Bible Doctrines I – A systematic study of the biblical basis of fundamental Christian doctrines, with emphasis on the practical application of the teaching of the Bible to the Christian life.

6) Bible Doctrines II – A continuation of Bible Doctrines I.

Three credit units.

Certificates and Diplomas
- Certificates and diplomas will be awarded to APIBS students who complete the requisite courses and requirements.

- Certificates of Completion will be awarded to students who successfully complete each module, with an attendance of 90% or more, and an average passing rate of 75% and above for the quizzes.

- Diploma in Biblical Studies – 14 credit units

- Advance Diploma in Biblical Studies – 28 credit units (for those without a college degree)

- Bachelor in Biblical Studies – 28 credit units (for those with a college degree)

Cost
These video courses normally cost hundreds of dollars. APIBS offers them affordably to selected churches and Bible schools in the Philippines at 100 pesos per unit per student.

Schedule
The course is flexible and each church or Bible school can design its own time-table to suit the needs of its students. If a student is unable to attend one of the lessons, he/she may watch the video tape by himself/herself in the church/school later. Because of this flexibility, this course is especially suitable for the training of laypeople with busy schedules.

How To Apply For The Course
This video course is ONLY offered for group studies in a church, Christian academy or Bible school/institute in the Philippines. It is not for private use/self study. The applicant for this video course should be the leader of that Christian organization.
